...on the best days you will be missed
On Thursday, November 18th 2010 around 7 P.M. Pearson International Airport lost contact with a Beechcraft F33A Bonanza somewhere east of Pickering. Moments later, Police received calls about a plane crashing into a field. Azizullah Yoosufani, 26, and students Cynthia Hoi-Mei Tsang and Lloyd Myles Cripps, both 20, were in that plane, which took off from Buttonville Airport, Seneca Aviation School hanger. Azizullah (Aziz) graduated from Seneca in 2008 as the valedictorian of his class and he had what we call in the aviation world as, "the right stuff". Cynthia and Llyod were both part of the 2013 class in Seneca's flight program. Aziz was more than just an instructor: he was a great friend to us all. He lived every moment of his life and took every chance he could to get into an aircraft. Cynthia (Cynth) and Llyod were such great classmates to me, and even better friends. They were always there and made sure- above all things- that you had a smile on your face. I still remember after we would finish our class or exams, we would drive down to a local Chinese restaurant we call our second home and have the best crispy chicken in town! Cynthia used to love it and would plan every free time she had to go there. So many great memories! In class when the toughest of all subjects would hit us, Cynth would teach us and make sure we were on the same page as her and THEN would encourage us to a good game of ping pong or a fresh dish of crispy chicken. Every single time i think of them i get a smile on my face, not once have i been sad. I miss you guys for sure but I know you guys are up there doing what you love. Fly high.
