Unaware...
So according to me today wast the first official snow fall in Toronto. I step outside and look into my garden just to spot this little red rose who forgot it was winter. It just shows you how unexpected the weather is not only to us but to our environment. Damn you global warming, damn you.

Natural Light > Artificial Light

The title of this blog may seem confusing to some people but it really isn't. It is a very simply concept that we discussed on a trip to Algonquin Park for the Canada Day weekend. While we were there we realized that the days seemed longer than those we used to have when we lived in the city. A friend quickly helped us understand that when we live in the city we are surrounded by so much artificial light that as soon as night falls we turn those on and we can still enjoy the rest of our night. But while camping we are living under the light provided by the sun and only the sun. As soon as its dark we hit night and its time to sleep. Once the sun rises we awake and begin the day. There is no living through the night or sleeping through the day (unless you want to lol). But basically I came to a conclusion that I prefer the lifestyle natural light has to provide over that of artificial light.
But besides all the serious shit we did some pretty cool things! We did canoeing (capsizing was the best part! haha although I did bleed quite a bit after cutting my toe on the rocks), we did hiking (just a long ass walk on THE TRANS-CANADA RAILROAD... kind of cool), we did fishing (caught nothing but did pull some random missions which was cool) and finally we all managed to spend quality time without fighting any bears. The pictures shown were all taken during the last day we were there since the first day we got there I wasn't really in the mood to take pictures. Never force yourself to take pictures, it'll never turn out right.
The Comeback!
Well as you guys may know, or not, i have been MIA due to the fact that my camera was under repair. I have finally received it and to be honest, I've missed it so much! I'm gonna be posting up pictures from the time I got it back till now so that includes, random photography missions and a camping trip! Hope you guys enjoy them as much as i did taking them! :)
Keep on shooting stuff... with a camera of course.

A journey through Toronto's Graffiti Alley..
So i decided to pick up my point and shoot Sony cybershot since my Canon is under-construction. I really didn't expect much from the camera but once i got to my destination, Toronto's Graffiti Alley located south of Queen street before Spadina avenue, i was able to take full advantage of its feature taking shots of some amazing art work. I spent almost two hours just walking down the alley which stretches for about 1 kilometer. It really puts in perspective the amount of talent Toronto artists have. This alley is known quite a bit during the summer especially during its festivals. I am looking forward to attending one where i can actually witness the work in progress.
After spending time looking at graffiti i came home and opened up my Banksy Wall and Piece book to see the power of art. After studying his work and searching up more about Banksy i came across this quote which cracked me up: "The time of getting fame for your name on its own is over. Artwork that is only about wanting to be famous will never make you famous. Any fame is a by-product of making something that means something. You don't go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit." After that, i knew i had to follow up more on him whenever i got a chance. Well hope you guys enjoyed the shots. Sorry for taking so long posting things up but im really working on getting the camera fixed. Take care!

Today's music
Today was one of those days where you just felt alive. The sun shining, the wind was the perfect temperature and the window rolled down driving with the heat on. It was warm with a nice cool. Oh of course this amazing drive came after having a really good curry chicken and rice. Spent this wicked afternoon with a buddy of mine, Waj. And he is a huge influence to a lot of this music tonight... so without further blabbering check out the music and here's the list:
